Huge Hard Excruciatingly Painful On The Outside Of Vagina

hello. so i have had this huge hard excrutiatingly painful almost golf ball size lump on the outerside of my vagina thats been there for a week now, its now bringing tears to my eyes its so painful. there is no 'head' to it so to speak like a pimple or black head.. should i make an appointment or is it possibly just an ingrown hair that i just need to suck up and soak in a tub untill it goes away if it goes away...
