Is Bleeding From Butt Crack Normal With First Period?

Hey Im a 13 year old girl and I am NOT sexually active, and have recelenty discovered that my "but crack" is bleeding. However yesterday I started my period for the very first time, wich lead me to belive that this just has something to do with that. But, even before yesterday I have found little sploches of blood on tolliet paper, underware, etc. Is there any reason for this happeing, or is this just part of my period?
