Is Flying Safe While Suffering From Pericarditis?

I was just released from hospital 2 days ago after emergency admittance for chest pain, no evidence of heart attack. I am currently being treated for pericarditis can I fly, my brother in law has just passed away and I need to fly to the States 18hours for me.

is better to avoid from fly of too much hours, because this can cause deep vein thrombosis and having pericarditis it is much more risky, so you have to avoid
