Is Hysterectomy Recommended For Endometriosis?

I just had a laproscopy yesterday that diagnosed endometriosis. I don t meet with my doctor again until the 8th but based on what my husband said the doctor told him is they are going to recommend a hysterectomy. I ve been reading a lot of messages, chats, blogs, etc. and some say a hysterectomy does not end the endo pain. I have severe leg pain with mine. What are your thoughts on a hysterectomy and what is the recovery time?
