Is It Normal To Get Bleeding While Taking Trimethoprim?

Hi there,
I am on the pill cerezette and 2 weeks ago got a uti, my doctor prescribed me with trimethoprim to take for 5 days twice daily, since taking them and finishing I have been regularly bleeding even a week after, is this something to worry about?
