Is It Normal To Get Pain In Rectal Area Before Period?

Hi Doctor , I have experiencing strange pain in the lower abdomen and in the anus area it lasts couple seconds and go and I am supposed to have the period today or tomorrow its the first time I have a pain in the rectal area before period is it normal ? I did papsmere , ultrasound for pelvis area , urine test and thank god everything is ok so is it normal to have such a pain in the rectal area before period ? thanks my name is luna .
