Is It Safe To Take Ovral-g For Spotting?

on 5th june i had d and c,but after 7 days there was accumulation of blood inside but i had periods on 6th july upto 3 days. till 15 july i found spotting of blood again i had operated on 21st ,now i am ok,my gyneacologist suggested ovral-g medicine....this is for which purpose inspite of coception??
