Is It Safe To Take Tri-cyclen To Stop Continous Bleeding When On The Depo Shot?

I have been on the depo shot for about 2 weeks now and I have been constantly bleeding. I was going to take my ortho tri cyclin lo to stop the bleeding but was worried about overdosing on birth control. so my question is, is it ok to take the pill while im on the shot?
