Is Itching In Stitched Area After Hydrocelectomy Normal?

After a hydrocelectomy, is it common for their to be a fairly intense itching in the stitched area? Additionally, what about a pretty strong burning sensation at the end of the stitches--it is almost has if part of the incision may have rubbed to much against my underwear. There has been very little blood, mainly a couple of spot on my underwear in 5 days since the surgery. Age 38
