Is There A Connection Between Pitting In Nails And Exfoliative Keratolysis?

hi,, i have had exfoliative keratolysis for 15 years now, i saw many dermatologists and although no one gave me this condition name, (i got that off the web) i was told that it was some sort of eczema and that there was no fungus infection ( i did the patches tests) and i was prescribed cortisone cream (which i never really used for more that a few applications).
My question is as follows, I have nail pitting on my toenails and handnails and i never saw this connection between keratolysis and nails, is there any connection? i dont think i have psoriasis at all. my only problem is that i get air bubbles on my palms and my feet and then i peel them off. but i am so annoyed with the pitting on my nails. some nails are ok, others have less than 5 pitts on each my thumb nail has the most and it doesnt look straight anymore..
