Is There Any Side Effect Of Trapic MF ?

Hi I am 43 years old. Have 2 children (15 yrs and 10yrs, normal pregnancy, C-section and a VBAC). I have a regular cycle of 28 days and I have flooding and heavy bleeding on days 2 and 3. I ve been advised to have Trapic MF (2tab - 3times a day) on days of heavy bleeding. My questions are: 1. Is prolonged use of Trapic MF harmful? Will there be any side effects? 2. Is it normal to have heavy bleeding at my age or should it taper?
