Is This Normal To Have Black Holes On Leg After Laser Hair Removal?

I underwent laser hair removal (my first ever session) yesterday. The laser passed over three small moles on the back of my legs, which have had the opposite reaction to what every laser hair article online is saying. Instead of lightening, these three moles (approx 1mm large) have turned a very dark/almost black colour (within hours of the treatment). They were also raised slightly as if to be inflamed but this has receded now. I am very concerned, I don't know whether this is a normal reaction to laser hair treatment, or if I should be hi-tailing it to the doctors office to have them checked.
