Noticed A Bump On The Arm Where The Blood Was Drawn

I had blood drawn today. It was a nurse that never helped me before and she said that she was using a larger needle 'so that it will go faster'. I have a bump at the site now and I actually do feel pain from the site up my arm - nothing severe but my arm did not ache until the blood was drawn. Should I be concerned?
