Noticed Severe Burning /ripping Sensation In The Right Big Toe

Good afternoon,
For the past couple of weeks I have been suffering an acute burning / ripping sensation in my right big toe. I first noticed it when putting my jeans on, it gave me a shock and thought I has been stung or bitten by something. Then I noticed when I raised my right leg the acute systems came back, a stinging, burning, ripping sensation. If I touch or move my toe when standing there is no pain and its completely normal. I get no pain when walking, running or playing football. I have subsequently found I can replicate the symptoms by touching or rubbing the top of my ankle. If you have any theorys or further questions I would be pleased to assist. Kind regards.
