Prescribed Provera To Induce Bleeding To Shed The Lining. How Long Should I Expect My Periods?

I m 57 and post menopause for over 5 years. In Oct 2013 my uterine lining was about 2X (9.2) as thick as it should be. Had a negative biopsy for cancer in Oct 2013 . In Feb 2014 ultrasound showed lining was 9.6. Dr had me take 10mg provera for 10 days to induce bleeding to shed lining. I finished pills 4 days ago and still no period. How long before I should expect one? Should I expect the periond from hell? How long will it last?Lining has been refered to as uterine and endometrial. Are they one and the same?
