Reason For Pain In The Rectum And Vagina?

Had keyhole surgery for endo and had a cyst drained which was obstructing my bowel. Surgeon didnt continue with removal of tube because during procedure bowel became inflamed. He wants to put me in for follow up surgery and to take hormones tablets for three months which I haven taken because of side effects. This was five weeks ago and I'm due to see him next week but for the last couple of days I've had throbbing pain in rectum and vagina, but mostly the rectum. Could this be linked to the surgery
