Should I Be Concerned About The IUD Embedded In Uterus?

I have paragard IUD for 8years, I want to a doctor to remove it. The doctor removed the string but the iud still in the uterus. What is the risk that I will face. I took an ultrasound and the results showed that the iud is embedded in the half way of uterus.please let me know.
