Suggest A Treatment For Brown Discharge And Foul Vaginal Odor

I am 65 years old. Had a complete hysterectomy in my mid thirties. I began having a foul vaginal odor a couple of years ago. Then came a brown discharge, which stains my underwear. I had used vaginal Premarin, which seemed to help. Then, after not using it for awhile, problems returned. I am now using the cream again, with no success. First, I wonder what causes the brown color? I understand that this is all due to vaginal atrophy, but am uncertain as to the color and odor. And am concerned that the cream does not relieve the problems. This is accompanied by an itch in the crease between leg and tummy. Unrelated, I believe. I use Nystop for this.
