Suggest Cause & Treatment For HGSIL & Cervical Colonization

I am a 32 yr old female with HGSIL and my colposcopy showed nothing. My doctor is insisting I have a cervical conization . Is this the typical course of action? A little history..my mother had uterine cancer and my father passed away from mesothelioma cancer.
