Suggest Medication For Itchy, Swollen Vagina With Thick Discharge

hi doctor I already go for a checkup but no gynecologist is not available so the nurse gave me to an internal doctor and told her about my itchy,swollen vagina then she gave me some cream,antibiotic and suppository but I still don t know what is wrong with my vagina she only said to take those medicine and if it s still the same she will recommend me to an ob gyn but I really want to know what is this because at first the discharge is yellow green then a cottage cheese like discharge without any smell and now it s a fishy smell..i really need help please
