Suggest Medication For Period Pains

Dear Dr. I was previously prescribed Yaz OCP when I was about 15 since i had terrible period pains and my gynae suspected it could be endometriosis. I took it for two years and then started suffering from its side effects. I went to a different gynae for a second opinion and was told to switch to Qlaira. I've now been on Qlaira for the past 2 years and so far, I haven't had the terrible period pains i used to get. However, it never really regulated my period and I used to spend about 2 months without a period however now i havent had a period in over 5 months. I saw my gynae about a month ago and questioned her on this. Apparently it's normal because it's a natural oestrogen that doesn't allow for the full thickening of the uterus lining. I am however concerned. Thank you
