Suggest Medication To Delay Periods

My husband is coming from another country next month. We have already planned for being outside for 15-20 days together. The problem is my period date is also within the first week of our travel. I want not having period or stop my period for those 15-20 days. I have not started contraceptive pill yet as I am newly married and afraid of being fat because of the side effect of contraceptive pill. My husband prefers condom. As to postpone period there are no such treatment rather than contraceptive pills that’s why I need help in this case. My question is which contraceptive pills will be normally ok, what is the instruction of taking it to stop period and prevent pregnancy. Moreover, as my husband will go away to another country after 20 days and there will be no possibility of intercourse between us for 1 or 2 year. I want to stop those contraceptive pills after my husband leave. So my question is, when I can stop taking those pills after my husband goes abroad and there will be no risk at all of being pregnant. For your information, my period occurs on 16/17th of any month. I continue my period for normally 7 days, I have heavy flow, my weight is 60 kg, age is 22. Want some safe and secure reply. Thank you.
