Suggest Painkillers For Knee Pain Due To Calcium Pyrophosphate Deposition Disease

Hi I have CPDD for over 20 years. It has never caused that much of a problem just in and out. But my knee has been bad now for a few days and I cannot weight bear on it and am limping around. Can I go to A & E for pain killers or something - basically will then be able to do something today to take the pain away and make it so I can walk?
