Suggest Remedy For Bumps In Thigh

my friend had a large dome shaped cyst/bump/raised area on his this last month. It was red swollen and soft to touch. Today i looked at it, it is now twice the size and is shaped like a mushroom with scales on it. around the skin area of his thigh the area is raised and semi hard, i cannot believe the changes. I have been asking him to go to emergency room. He has lost 55 pounds in a month and was unable to walk for 5 weeks. Now he walks like a toddler just learning how to walk. He took some steriods a doctor prescribed, but the MD stated he could not help with the cyst/tumor/bump. Do you think it can be cancer
