Suggest Remedy For Bumps

hi, my name is Brianna. i am 19. for a few years i have been getting really large bumps that appear on my bikini line. my mother told me they were most likely ingrown hairs. but im not so sure. they get the size of a marble and sometime larger and will last for weeks before they go away and are very painful. and once they do leave, they tend to leave scars. ive tired poping one and i get alot or clear fluid and blood. and rarely any puss. should i be concerned?
