Suggest Remedy For Impetigo

My sin has impetigo.. I put aristocort cream that my mom said to put on it. I did some research on it and found out it wasn't good. Then I read that bactroban was good for impetigo. So I put some of that on. But 10min later he started to cry.. I don't know why??
