Suggest Remedy For Itchy Legs

i was wearing tight sock ( one size fts all ) and my leg got itchie , so was scratchingb it. the next day at work, i was moving chemicals , so i tied a bag around ny leg it was tight . when i got home, it was red and sore. I washed it and put cream on it. I also saw my foot was swollen . I was told it was fluid on my foot and not to worry about it. I think i should go to the hospital to have it drained and , have them look at the redness on my leg . What do you think
