Suggest Remedy For Itchy Painful Dots In Legs

hello Doctor, good evening
I got red dots on my both legs ( mostly on the feet ), very itchy, not able to sleep at all, the dermatologist I consulted suspected that it may be due to blood vessel infection, and prescribed an ointment "betamethasone dipropionate cream usp, 0.05%" and asked me to apply twice a day; First day it gave me releif but the next day onwards, even after applying this itch is unbearable and I am using sleeping pills at night and still not able to sleep because of the super itchy ness". he also took a sample by making a small hole on the skin and said results may take 15 days. I will be very greatful if you can help me in releiving this pain, I am not sure what this is ,but is so painful, been almost 8 days like this, thanks so much for your help.
