Suggest Remedy For Itchy Red Foot Skin

The bottom of my right foot is itching really bad. I have looked at the foot and the skin is intact with no signs of redness or swelling. It is a deep internal itch that runs along the arch side only part of my foot (my big toe is not affected). My left foot is unaffected as well. I have tried Benadryl with results that I could not determine due to it putting me to sleep. I have tried Ibuprofen with little results. What could this be and do you have any ideas or treatments that might help. Thank you
