Suggest Remedy For Itchy Vagina

My vagina has been itchy for a few weeks. There have been no change in my life. And I haven t had sex in a few months. Now my vagina is itchy, red and a little swollen from scratching in my sleep and my vulva feels a little plasticy. I have also noticed little flat red bumps near my perineum they do not itch or hurt they re just an eyesore. There is no discharge and my vagina is very very dry. Oh and I have been disgnosed as pre diabetic and was started on metformin.
