I am 61 years old. In good health, just returned from a 30 trip to Russia, Germany and Italy. I have had my gad bladder removed years ago and a full hysterectomy over 2 years age. I am back from my trip for two weeks now. About a week and a half ago I started with slight pain in my hips, I blamed that to all of the walking and long flights coming home. It persisted and I started with left side and back pain. Then, signs of a bladder infection. Problem urinating, I have had this in the past. I called my Dr. not return call, Holiday week??? So I called a Dr. friend. She sent out Ciprofloxacin HCL 250 Mg, 1 two times a day, 6 pills total. and Urogesic-Blue Tablets, 1 three times per day, total 12. By the time I had the script filled I had chills and fever and hurt all over. Started taking the meds Tuesday , July 1st and finished the Cipro on Thursday night July 3rd. By Thursday night I fwlt better, still not out of pain, but better. Still taking the Urogesic_Blue and the urinating problem much better, but still in pain. My left side(Hip bone area and around to the back) still in heavy pain. I am wondering if this could be appendix problems??? Today is the 4th of July. I hate to think of what the ER is like this weekend. But, the pain has gotten worse since ending the Cipro and Bladder seems to be under control. Should I just take more Cipro? I do have some in the back of the Med. Cabinet??? Susan Ross, Metairie, La
