Suggest Remedy To Cure High Fever And Headache

My step son has elevated LFT s, Alk phos, alt and ast only. He has mild proteinuria as well. He has had a flu like symptoms for a few weeks and a persistent headache for a month. BUN normal, GFR normal and mild increase in creat at 1.4.. he is 30 yrs old and has been treated with steroids and amoxil and 2 weeks later is still sick with headache and fevers. These have been high fevers at times up to 103. He does work in a nursing home as LPN and lives in Lower alabama...What do we do next?
