Suggest Remedy To Relieve Pain And Swelling In Rectum

I seemed to have scratched my rectum area the other day and now it is extremely swollen and painful. I'm not sure if it's from the scratch or if it's something else. It's painful and swollen - and the swollen area is hard, not soft. Is there anything I can put on it over the counter?
