Suggest Treatment For Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

My 17 year old son harmed his right elbow during baseball season 2 years ago, the dr is now talking about Cubital tunnel syndrome and the surgery to repair it scares me. Last August they did a surgery to remove bone fragment and that didn t turn out to be the problem. Any ideas?
