Suggest Treatment For Dark Pigmentation On Face

Hi Sir,
My name is Manasa,i'm 28 yrs and unmarried girl.Actually first i had tan problem on my face (forehead, chin and sides of nose are darker than my cheeks).So i consult a dermatologist , she applied phenol chemical peel (4 to 5 sittings) but it made my skin worst than before.After 5 months i consult another dermatologist ,he suggested me glycolic acid peels with melacare cream and suncross sunscreen lotion.It given good result,but when i stopped using melacare cream my forehead ,chin and sides of nose, under eye area are even more darker than before.When i approached again he is saying it will take another 2 sittings.Please suggest me what should I do?
