Suggest Treatment For Dry Flaky Skin In Between Lip And Chin

I am 17, 5' 8" and weigh 170 and I am pretty healthy. I have a red dry flaky strip inbetween bottom lip and chin, right on the crease. My mother told me to try Hydrocotrisone cream 1% because it itched I tried it but it didn't seem to help she told me to try lotion for severly dry skin but that has not seemed to help much either. I also have a red spot on the coner of my mouth I have tried the lotion and petroleum jelly on it but it is still there.

I recently went back to school so I don't know if it is because of the dryness in the school or something with that but I also just got my wisdom teeth out about 2 and half weeks ago and just finished up the penicillin almost a week ago.
