Suggest Treatment For Hole In Skin After Healing Of Blister

Hello, I was walking about a mile and a half to walmart in the rain wearing sandals one day, which cause two identical blisters on both of the top knuckles of both big toes on my feet. They were bad, ripped open and red, but I've had blisters before so like most times, I just let it be, and wore socks. One healed, but the other seemed to get progressively worse, but then soon seemed to heal after a prolonged period of almost a month. The skin began drying up around where the open blister had been, and looked almost exactly like a wart- except the inside was green, not brown or black. I tried pulling out the green scab looking middle and instead of bleeding it left a hole in my skin and I could see the flesh- but it did now hurt. I poured peroxide on it proceeding to put neosporin and a bandaid on it as well. What is this and what should I do? I'm guessing it is having something to do with some sort of infection.
