Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods

Cycle was due by the 21st. I am only late when pregnant. My cycles have started 2-3 days early in the past. I did have very minimal spotting on the 15th and again on the 17th. I have had a blood hcg test with negative results on the 20th. My dr generally does the quantitative, but did only qualitative this time. What are the possibilities that I am pregnant vs early menopause. I am 38.
