Suggest Treatment For Itching And Bruising On Upper Thighs

I have severe itching on my upper thighs, which turns into bruises. The bruises are red and purple. The itching is quite severe after eating. I was recently admitted to hospital for diverticultis (about 2 months ago) had an intrevenous drip for anti biotics.
