Suggest Treatment For Itchy Skin

I have recently been suffering from itchy skin, it would seem to be caused by bites (we have midges around our home) but 4 days ago I depeloped bruise like round sore places on the palms of my hands. These are also very itchy. Any suggestions as they are sore and very amnoying.
