Suggest Treatment For Needle Like Sensation On A Bug Bite Site

In 2003, I was outside with my twins and was suddenly stung by something I never saw. It was as if a million needles dispersed beneath my skin. This started an itching beneath the skin that was maddening. It would calm down during the winter months and then begin again in the fall. This went on for several years and then appeared to go away completely. Just this past fall, it started up again. It has spread in a circular radius extending outward from the original site. There is no evidence present other than the needle like sensation that happens whenever I do scratch the areas that are itching constantly. PLEASE HELP! It is absolutely driving me mad!
