Suggest Treatment For Slow Follicle Growth

hello doctor i m 27 and got married last year i m diagniosed with pcos for which i m getting treatment since last one year. i usually have irregular periods since starting but was never over weight but i gained 10kg wt since i started getting my treatment, i m 82kg and my height is 5feet9inches, my doctor has done all the test which dignosed pcos and she also given me metformin and fertomid(1od from day 2 for 5days) and then done follicular study which show slow development of follicles i.e, on day 17- 9.6mm) and now i was suggested to go for overydrilling surgery.
doctor please suggest me what should i do
