Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Redness Of Feet

Hi i believe i was bitten about 10days ago, not sure what by. At first it was just itchy, no inflamation or swelling but over the past few days my foot has gone red and bruised and is since yday is extremely swollen. I went to see a nurse yday who advised that the area has started tracking and prescridbed me flucloxacillin 500mg and advised me to take four a day. I am concerned about the swelling as it seems to have spread across my whole foot. Should i visit a&e or wait a couple of days to see if the antibiotic reduces the swelling and redness? and is there anything i can do in the meantime to help speed the recovery along?

I would really appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you
