Suggest Treatment For Swollen Red Pus Filled Bumps On Face

In the past week I have developed a reddish rounded swollen bump filled with clear pus on the right side of my chin (looks somewhat like a boil to me). At first I thought that it might just be a pimple (I went on vaction for a few weeks) due to the climate changes. Now I am a little concerned because It feels much deeper now, its tender and warm when I touch it. The swelling doesnt seem to go down, and the pain doesnt go away. I have been getting a lot of headaches lately, and sleep 12+ hours. I find it very hard to wake up and I never feel energized. One thing that I have been doing daily now is going to the gym (I know you can get staph infections from using machines). My mother also has MRSA and has had a staph infection in her chin a few times in the past. I dont know much about MRSA so I dont know if she can give it to me? Im thinking about going to the doctor but if its nothing to be concerned about that i dont want to waste the money. One thing I will add is I'm 20 years old and I have never had acne problems growing up and in the past month I have had several pimple like bumps on my forehead that no matter what I do they keep coming. I have tried 2 different facial scrubs and 1 facial lotion. I dont know if this is adult acne but they spread in a matter of hours. Anyone one with answers will help me out incredibly!
