Suggest Treatment To Remove The Wood Piece From Toe

dear sir, i have simple problem but annoying a small piece of wood pierced into my Toe, its not coming out. I went to doctor once to see if i can find though xray.Doctor told me its not possible to see wood piece in xray. He operate my toe but could not find anything in there. PLS advice how to view the presence of wood piece inside the toes

my age is 30 , male, average height - 5.7
