What Are The Causes For Unusual Menstruation?

Hi I had an ectopic pregnancy last month and had a d&c and laparoscopic done which resulted in removal of my left Fallopian tube. I m a month out for my surgery and I am having a slightly unusual period. It s watery and not a lot lighter then normal. I have felt a little off the past couple weeks as well. But recently my breasts have been really sore to the touch and I now have lower back pain and constant headaches. Is this normal or is this something I need to have checked out after having an ectopic pregnancy. My husband and I have had unprotected sex since the surgery.
