What Are The Dependable Methods To Confirm The Pregnancy?

I am from Hyderabad, India, my last period was on 19th Sept.. I had a safe intercourse (as per my knowledge) on 2nd October.. Generally my menses gets delayed every month by max 5 days. But this time,, till today (30th October) I dint get my period yet.. I am a bit tensed that I am pregnant. Today morning I took home test with CIPLA PREGTEST CARD and the test result is negative. Can i believe the result?? What else should i do to confirm that I am not pregnant? Please help me.
