What Causes A Burning Sensation Outside Vagina And Anus?

I have had intense burning of anus and the outside of vagina for 4 weeks. No stds doctor treated me for thrush twice and prescribed me trimovate. I have used this cream for two days and it's making the situation worse. What could be causing it and what should I do?
