What Causes Bright Dot In Vision And Acidic Taste When Vomiting?

Today I overheated for about 30 mins. I wet myself head to toe and layed down. I saw a bright dot in my vision for a little when I would blink. I couldn't cool down even while wet and with the winter air in my house. It subsided and got a little chilly but was relieved to be cold. I drank a glass of water then my stomach wrenched and I purged mostly water with an acidy taste. I felt a bit more relieved. What happened? I've never experienced this before. Thanks, 30 yr old male.
