What Causes Bright Red Vaginal Discharge While On Antibiotic For Yeast Infection?

I am currently being treated with Bactrim for a Uti and took Difflucan for the yeast infection I developed from that. I am still on the antibiotic, and started having my period a few days ago, but now it is bright red and light but I don't know if that blood is from vaginal irritation. I checked and it is coming from my vagina and not my urethra but I am scared.
